ABOUT US
ARISE FOR SOCIAL AND GENDER JUSTICE (ASGJ) is a Non-Profit Making Non-Governmental Organization in Zambia that addresses the needs of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) and marginalized women and girls in Zambia’s rural and urban communities through programs in education, health, shelter and empowerment.
Our Aim
To reduce all forms of Sexual Gender Based Violence Against Women and Girls (SGBVAWG), promote access to quality evidence based Sexual Reproductive Health Rights Education (SRHRE) and Menstrual Hygiene Health (MHH) information and services, reduce gender inequalities and create a society where women and girls (including those with disabilities) are empowered to positively influence communities in which they live.
