Between the 21st and 25th October, ASGJ took part in the one week training for the young people held at Cosmic Lodge. Young people from different organizations that are members of the Collective Power Alliance from Lusaka and Kabwe came together to discuss matters of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV). The training saw these young people get equipped with research skills that would allow them conduct research on SGBV. To help Community Schools to prepare for the re-opening of Schools for Exam classes on 1 June, 2020. We went ahead and donated the following items to the two school; 100 face masks per school20 hand wash per school50 hand sanitizers per school2 hand wash basins per school To our partners, we thank you all for your continued support and partnership to this noble cause.
Menstrual Hygiene Day – Chongwe
On 28th May, 2019 we joined the rest of the World and the Zambia Ministry of General Education and Cooperating partners in Chongwe to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day under the theme ‘It’s time for Action’. #ItsTimeforAction #MenstruationMatters #HelpHerStayInSchool
