WHAT WE DO

Emergency Response

Arise for Social and Gender Justice’s Emergency Response Program is designed to provide rapid assistance and relief to individuals and communities affected by a sudden-onset crisis or disaster. Such emergencies include natural disasters like floods, as well as human-made disasters such as conflicts, pandemics, or industrial accidents. The primary goal of our Emergency Response Program is to address the immediate needs of affected communities, including their safety, health, shelter, and other essential requirements. Here are key components associated with our Emergency Response Program:

    • Addressing immediate nutritional needs, especially for vulnerable groups like children and pregnant women.
  3. Healthcare:
    • Ensuring access to essential medicines and medical supplies through referrals to service providers.
  4. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH):

    • Utilizing technology and media to disseminate important messages.
  7. Psychosocial Support:
    • Offering psychological first aid and counseling services to individuals affected by trauma.
    • Supporting community-based psychosocial activities.
  8. Coordination with Local Authorities and Communities:
