With funding and support from ACT Ubumbano, Arise for Social and Gender Justice was able to bring transformative change to Kapete Secondary School in Chongwe District.
We reached 200 adolescent girls and boys aged 12 to 19 years, equipping them with vital knowledge on Sexual and Reproductive Health, Menstrual Health and Hygiene, HIV and AIDS prevention, and Gender-Based Violence.
Together, we also challenged harmful social norms and gender stereotypes that hold young people back.
