Member of the National Coalition on School Health

On 30th September , 2024, Arise for Social and Gender Justice officially became part of the newly formed National CSO Coalition on School Health. In collaboration with Healthy Learners, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, the new coalition brings together ten organizations from across Zambia that are all committed to enhancing school health . The coalition is dedicated to advocating for the health and well-being of children in schools with a shared vision of fostering safe, supportive, and nurturing environments school environments.

National CSO Coalition on School Health Engagement Workshop

Yesterday 26th September, 2024 we joined other CSOs in discussing critical matters concerning our National School Health. As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance school health services in Zambia, Alliance forAccountability Advocates Zambia (AAAZ) with support from Healthy Learners hosted a National CSO Coalition on School Health Engagement Workshop. The workshop was being convened in response to the need for improved coordination, monitoring, accountability and advocacy in the implementation of school health programs at both national and subnational levels. The meeting brought together Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from acrossthe country to discuss strategies for addressing these challenges.
